Please The Palate Pick of the Week: Ferrari Brut, Trento DOC

If you love sparkling wine as much as I do, you want to drink it all the time. And that is how my week started off, drinking lots of sparkling wine. Specifically, I was drinking Ferrari Brut Trento DOC from Italy. Ferrari Trento celebrates the “Italian art of living” and embodies elegance and excellence. It is the Official Sparkling Wine of Emmy® Awards season as well as the Please The Palate pick of the week.

Ferrari Trento is located in the Trentino region in the Northeastern section of Italy. The vineyards are at a high elevation and experience warm days and cool nights which allow the grapes to mature while maintaining freshness.

The Ferrari Brut, a blanc de blanc is made from Chardonnay and matured for two years in the bottle. The wine is fresh and crisp with notes of apples, white flowers and yeast.

Ferrari Brut has been is the exclusive sparkling wine featured at the Emmy Awards for four consecutive years. It is the wine that all of the celebrities were drinking throughout the weekend. It was the wine I was drinking as I attended numerous events hosted by Ferrari Trento, including the Emmy Performers Nominee Reception at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts, a brunch at Eataly and a dinner at a private villa, catered by Curtis Stone.

In addition to being a deliciously refreshing sparkling wine, the Ferrari Brut is extremely affordable! At only $23 a bottle, it is a wine that everyone can enjoy even if we are not at an awards show.

Head out today and pick up a bottle of Ferrari Brut Trento DOC and you will see why it is the Please The Palate pick of the week.
