Many days of the week I am on the go. Whether is it an overnight trip up north or meetings around the city, I am out for the day and need everything with me. I used to carry a purse with my wallet, glasses, phone, camera and keys and then would bring a tote with my tablet, any relevant files, a notebook, pens and whatever else I would need. There was also the water bottle and snacks that would get thrown on top wherever they would fit. And then I got my Dagne Dover Charlie Tote and my life changed and that is why it is the Please The Palate pick of the week.
Dagne Dover tote bags are chic and stylish but more importantly they are exceptionally functional and that makes them the perfect work bag.
The Charlie Tote that I have is approximately 15 ½” high, 12 ½” long and 6” wide. The exterior is a sturdy Genuine Pebbled Leather and the interior is a waterproof camouflage lining.
Why waterproof camouflage lining? Perhaps it is just in case the water bottle spills but that is unlikely as there is a neoprene bottle holder inside the bag. And there are so many pockets! There is a large interior zipper pocket with two slip pockets in front. There is an large additional slip pocket on the other side of the bag. On the sides, there is an deep side slip pocket and a leather phone pocket with an extra compartment for a parking ticket or MetroCard. On the outside there is a front slip pocket with a magnetic closer and another exterior pocket on the side. There are so many pockets, I can neatly put different things in different pockets and find something when I am looking for it!
And last but not least, there is the padded laptop sleeve with a zipper closure in which I can fit my tablet, in its case and with its charger inside.
Whenever I am out for the day, I am thankful for my Dagne Dover Tote as it keeps me organized while still feeling fashionable and that is why it is the Please The Palate pick of the week.
