We made it! Happy 2021!
2020 was a difficult year, to say the least. But despite all the challenges (of which there were plenty), I try to look at the glass as half full. While travelling and eating out, two things that I used to do regularly, came to a halt, I have enjoyed having so much time at home. Even being home, the pace did not seem to stop. While the bulk of my business (events) came to a halt, there have been back to back virtual tastings with winemakers, giving me lots of content to write about for my blog and other outlets. I was honored to be listed as number 31 on the Top 100 Wine Blogs, Websites & Influencers in 2020 by Feedspot. This was in addition to also receiving the Top 101 Wine Writers Of 2020 Award in September from Corking Wines, a leading online wine merchant and retailer based in the city of York in the UK.
I hope that you, too, can see the glass as half full for 2020. More importantly, I hope that 2021 is a year where we can start to come back together and find a new sense of normalcy. Until then, stay safe, stay healthy and keep your masks on!
