Happy Hour and More at Hanjip

There are more reasons to head to Hanjip Korean Barbecue, as if you needed an excuse. Open less than a year, the upscale Korean barbecue restaurant in Culver City has made a few changes and additions.

New Hanjip Menu

Since opening, the menu has become a bit more succinct. The new menu offers a “how to Korean barbecue” at the top of the page. There are two platters offered, either beef or pork and either large or small.

The marinated short rib is the signature dish and this, as well as other meats (pork, beef, octopus) are available a la carte as well. The tomahawk steak for $150 is still available but the pricey Spanish prawns are gone.

And there are the sides. What is best about the sides is that most of them appear on the relatively new happy hour menu for $4 to $11 less than the regular price.

Happy hour offerings also include the seafood pancake, the housemade chicharron with kimchi aoili and Mister Oh’s sweet and spicy kbbq ribs.

If you cannot wait until happy hour, Hanjip offers an affordable and filling lunch combination. For $15, you can pick a bowl of poke, dolsot bibimbap, spicy pork, soon tofu or katsu, pick a meat (beef bulgogi, beef brisket, marinated pork belly, pork belly, marinated pork shoulder, marinated short rib) and grill!

And if eating at Hanjip during the week is not enough, they are also now offering an all-you-can-eat AYCE Weekend Brunch every Saturday and Sunday from 11:30am to 4:00pm. Brunch includes a selection of premium meats, a daily assortment of seasonal banchan and rice for $19 or $25.

There is no shortage of reasons to go to Hanjip!
