Awards season is here and nothing says celebration more than a glass of bubbly. So, to get in the spirit of the Oscars, we headed to a little pre-glam party hosted by Champagne Piper Heidsieck, the official and exclusive Champagne of the Academy Awards.
We sat down for a little pampering, compliments of the newly launched The Glam App, which lets users order from a menu of services covering hair, makeup and nails, at various levels of pricing based on experience. It’s really beauty on demand at your door.
And, as we were getting glam, we enjoyed glasses of Piper Heidsieck Brut, Rose Sauvage and 2006 Vintage Champagnes.
Champagne Piper Heidsieck is a 235 year old Champagne house. Started in 1785, Piper Heidsieck began before the French Revolution, when France still had a King and a Queen. In fact, today there are no more than 10 brands of Champagne remaining that can trace their start in the 18th Century.
Champagne Piper Heidsieck has always been a family-owned business. In 2011, the Descours family purchased Piper Heidsieck, making them only the sixth family to own the brand in over 200 years.
Piper Heidsieck is a brand that represents authenticity and heritage. And, it is the job of the CEO Cecile Bonnefond and her team to also keep the brand current. This combination of heritage and relevance is what has helped Champagne Piper Heidsieck survive through the centuries. And, as the exclusive Champagne of the Oscars for the next three years, Piper Heidsieck will continue to be in the spotlight.
So, when you sit down to watch the Oscars at home, open a bottle of Champagne Piper Heidsieck and know that this is what the winners are drinking backstage!
