About Frank Family Vineyards

Frank Family Vineyards is a well-known Napa winery known for their Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay. But, they also produce Petite Sirah, Pinot Noir, Sangiovese, Zinfandel, and méthode champenoise sparkling wines. Frank Family Vineyards was founded in 1992 by former Disney Studios President, Rich Frank. Today, Frank Family has grown to encompass more than 380 acres of vineyards across Napa Valley’s most acclaimed appellations. One of the many driving forces behind this iconic winery’s success is Leslie Frank, Rich’s wife. Leslie was a news anchor and reporter in Los Angeles when she met Rich in 2005. Her focus at Frank Family Vineyards has been on digital marketing, design and hospitality, and philanthropy. The Frank Family Vineyards Leslie Rosé of Pinot Noir is a tribute to proprietor Leslie Frank. First produced in 2020, the wine was inspired by her love for Provençal rosé and embraces her elegance, sophistication, and fun-loving spirit. Tasting Notes

Frank Family Vineyards has grown and sourced Pinot Noir to craft still and sparkling wines for the past two decades. For the Pinot Noir rosé, the grapes are sourced exclusively from parcels of the best vineyards in Napa’s acclaimed Carneros region, including the Frank Family’s Lewis Vineyard located along the shores of the San Pablo Bay. This Provençal style 100% Pinot Noir rosé is a delicate pink color with golden flecks. Fresh notes of white peach, strawberry, cherry, orange blossom, and citrus jump out of the glass. On the palate, the wine is vibrant and elegant. There is a depth of texture and electric acidity. Please The Palate Wine of the Week: Frank Family Vineyards 2022 Leslie Rosé of Pinot Noir, Carneros

Food Pairing

Pinot Noir is a typical pairing with salmon. So, with the Frank Family Vineyards 2022 Leslie Rosé of Pinot Noir, I paired it with salmon sashimi and salmon and yellowtail handrolls. The fresh vibrancy of the wine was a good match and the texture of this wine paired harmoniously with the delicate flavors of the fish.
