02 Feb Holy Cow! Bring It On!
Bring on the BBQ! I get hungry just thinking about it. I am full right now as I write this and yet I am licking my lips thinking about tender smoked meat, spicy and savory rubs and sauces and sides, sides and more sides! Hungry now? Well, head to Holy Cow BBQ in Santa Monica and Culver City where you can dine in or order to take out.
Everyone has a different style of BBQ that they think is the best. Is it the rich, savory and spicy style from Texas, tangy and sweet from Carolina, tart and spicy from Kentucky? Beef, pork or chicken? All of this and more is available at Holy Cow. Using some of the finest cuts of meat and poultry, the meats are hand rubbed and hickory smoked for hours. The result is slow cooked tender deliciousness with a style for everyone.
To get started, load up on the carbs with nachos, fries and more!
Bull Nachos (a pan of tortilla chips covered with wet beans, brisket, cheddar, q-sauce and cilantro)
Chili Cheese Fries
Bacon Wrapped BBQ Shrimp
Full yet? We are just getting started! Once the carb-loading is complete it is time for the meat.
BBQ Chicken Wings (bbq or hot)
Texas Brisket – super tender meat that almost melts when you cut it and even more moist with the Texas red sauce
Carolina Pulled Pork with tangy and sweet Carolina mustard
And in case this isn’t enough food, you cannot forget the sides! What is a full BBQ meal without the kettle beans, Idaho potato salad, mac & cheese, house slaw, onion rings, loaded potatoes and collard greens?
No matter how full you are, do not miss the dessert. It is a hard choice between the banana cream, served in a jar with caramelized banana and nilla wafers, peach crumble or chocolate bread pudding. So, I say, order them all!
Have a big get together coming up (think: Super Bowl, Fourth of July, family get-together), Holy Cow has a food truck, offers catering or order party packs.
