31 Mar A Dodgers-Inspired Night at Habit Burger in Echo Park

Last week, just in time for the start of the Dodgers’ opening season, I was invited to The Habit Burger & Grill in Echo Park for a special preview event celebrating their new partnership with the Los Angeles Dodgers. As a native Angeleno, I know how much this city loves its champion team. I also knew that if there was anyone who should join me, it would be my Dodger-loving nephew.

Habit Burger & Grill recently entered a multi-year agreement with the Dodgers, which brings Habit burgers into Dodger Stadium for the 2026 season. But you do not have to be going to a game to enjoy this partnership. A few minutes from the stadium, The Habit Echo Park has been completely reimagined as “Dodger x Habit Home Base,” transforming the restaurant into a full Dodgers-inspired destination for fans. Enjoy a Habit burger under the bold blue lighting and surrounded by Dodgers memorabilia and team-inspired decor.

Outside, on the exterior wall, is a brand-new mural designed by famed LA muralist Alex Ali Gonzalez. The mural celebrates the spirit of Los Angeles and its baseball culture. And we got to watch him put the finishing touches on the mural, including his signature.

Also on display was the iconic custom-restored 1957 Chevy Bel Air lowrider famously driven by Ice Cube at Dodger Stadium to celebrate the 2025 World Series. This blue convertible features custom murals of LA sports figures, an engraved interior, and a chrome undercarriage. As cool as it was to walk around the car, I got extra auntie points when we got permission to sit inside the car.

After enjoying the car and mural outside, we went inside for a Habit Char-burger and fries, along with a bright blue milkshake and a matching blue cocktail.

It was a fun, Dodger-themed night with my nephew.

Habit Burger in Echo Park is where Dodger fans can celebrate any day of the year, even in the off season.
