16 May Eating My Way Through Mexico City: A Foodie’s Adventure in Mexico City
Mexico City had long held a coveted spot on my travel wish list. I was most interested in the food scene. I had heard nothing but good things about the food in Mexico City and wanted to explore it for myself. So, I finally planned a trip. Of course, there were far more places on my list than what we could actually attack in four days. But we managed to eat our way around Mexico City which I wrote about for Monarch.wine entitled A Foodie’s Adventure in Mexico City. Mexico City offers a vast selection of food options, form fine dining to street food and we covered a little of it all! For Fine Dining, we went to Pujol and Quintonil, both on The World’s 50 Best Restaurant list. For Trendy Dining, we ate at Rosetta… and Masala y Maiz. To Explore the Street Food of Mexico City, we went on two food tours with Eat Mexico. One tour was of the neighborhood of Santa Maria La Ribera. The other tour was a market tour in Xochimilco. And when we needed to rest at the end of the day, we stayed at Volga for the first few nights… > and Andaz Mexico City Condesa for a few nights. It required a lot of eating but I happily “suffered” through it all to write this and maybe help you plan your trip!Discover more from Please The Palate
