03 Aug Vintage Hollywood GO Campaign Virtual Tasting with Two Shepherds and Native Flora
As a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, the traditional Vintage Hollywood event in Bel Air was canceled. Instead, we invited some of our wineries to join us for Virtual Wine Tastings. The second tasting featured Two Shepherds from Sonoma County and Native Flora from the Willamette Valley in Oregon, two boutique wineries that are off the beaten path. Meet William Allen of Two Shepherds in Sonoma and Scott Flora of Native Flora in the Willamette Valley, two boutique wine producers who march to the beat of their own drums. While they balk trending terms like sustainable, organic, biodynamic and natural, both manage their vineyards and wine production with the utmost care and minimal intervention. These are two wineries that you will not find in retail stores or on most restaurant lists but are wonderful word of mouth finds! In this rapidly evolving climate, GO Campaign has granted more than $55,000 in emergency funding to ensure the vulnerable children of Southern California are safe, healthy and fed during these unprecedented times. GO Campaign’s emergency grants provide everything from food and water to medical supplies and masks to rent for their partners facing closure. Additionally, they are currently working closely with organizations in Watts, and will continue prioritizing funds to programs addressing racial inequality in communities throughout Southern California and beyond.
