Australian Wine Regions – Crush On This Episode 33

In this week’s episode of Crush On This, we head to Australia to explore the red wines from three regions. Australia is a vast, beautiful country and the fourth largest in the world. It has an interesting past. Indigenous Australians lived on the continent for over 65,000 years before European explorers hit the shores. The colonization of Australia by British military is where the story of the grape vines starts. Now, Australia boasts 65 wine growing regions and every state has vineyard land. In today’s episode, we explore three famous wine regions in Australia and each select a different grape variety that speaks to the region. We travel to Heathcote for Shiraz, McLaren Vale for Cabernet Sauvignon and finally, to the esteemed Barossa Valley for a GSM (Grenache Shiraz Mourvedre) blend. Allison’s Wine: Tyrrells 2016 Shiraz, Heathcote, Australia ($25 USD) Cindy’s Wine: Two Hands Sexy Beast 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon, McLaren Vale, Australia ($27 USD) Christine’s Wine: Barossa Valley Estate GSM 2018 Barossa Valley, Australia ($22.00 CAD) SUBSCRIBE ➤➤➤ https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC5RvKh6mbDza936Rf08YdMQ
