Enjoy the food and wines of Lograño, Rioja, Spain as the Wine Expo in Santa Monica is transformed into LAUREL STREET aka “The ultimate gastronomic corner of the capital of La Rioja.”

DETAILS: Upon check-in, guests will receive a glass of sangria and a “Trail of the Elephants” tasting sheet listing the “bar” and the wines at that bar. We will stamp each bar as you taste and when you have tasted all of the wines, you will be entered to win a Rioja-themed prize.

There will be 4 or 5 taperias (tapas bars) stations set up in the Wine Expo wine bar. Each station will feature various “pintxos”- small bites of different delicacies on spikes (toothpicks) – cube of cheese with olive, lamb meatball, sauteed mushrooms on a pick, Spanish tortilla (potato/egg pie), anchovy and pickle, etc. and 3-4 wines, for a total of 12-15 wines.

Cost:  $39/each includes tapas and 12 to 15 wines.
