Rockstar Women Winemakers
- Kathy Joseph, Fiddlehead Cellars, Sta. Rita Hills
- Pam Starr, Crocker & Starr, Napa Valley
Friends from UC Davis, meet Kathy Joseph of Fiddlehead Cellars and Pam Starr of Crocker & Starr. After college, Kathy went south to the Santa Ynez Valley in Santa Barbara County and Pam heading north to Napa. While Kathy focuses on Pinot Noir and Pam focuses on Cabernet Sauvignon, you have never met two people who exude more passion about wine than they do.
Kathy Joseph established Fiddlehead Cellars in 1989 to capture the pure essence of two distinguished grape varietals – Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir. Her quest was simple. Besides a lesser important desire to satisfy her own palate, her intent was to incorporate European beauty into these domestically grown varietals by working with grapes grown in the right place and wines managed with respect in the cellar.
- Fiddlehead Cellars 728 Pinot Noir
- Fiddlehead Cellars Lollapalooza Pinot Noir
- Fiddlehead Cellars Oldsville Pinot Noir
Crocker & Starr
The Crocker & Starr name reflects the unique partnership between Charlie and Pam and the key components that each one brings to the table to achieve great wine: great grapes and great talent. In 1997, Charlie Crocker and Pam Starr established Crocker & Starr with a common goal of resurrecting the historic Crocker Vineyard Estate and creating world-class wines from its extraordinary terroir.
- 2019 Crocker & Starr Estate Sauvignon Blanc
- 2016 Crocker & Starr A.V.A. Cabernet Franc Blend
- 2017 Crocker & Starr estate Malbec ‘Casali 10’
Each tasting is $500 and includes 3 wines. Sign up for one or both. Either way, you can stay for the entire Zoom tasting.

About GO Campaign:
GO Campaign invests strategically in solution oriented, community-based and under-funded organizations that address the root causes of problems affecting vulnerable youth. GO Campaign identifies deserving local heroes throughout the world and partners with these organizations to provide children and young adults with critical services, resources and needed opportunities. The GO Campaign works with a number of local Los Angeles area grassroots “heroes” who run programs that give opportunities to vulnerable children and youth (under age 25). There are a variety of LA programs that GO has vetted, works with and gives grants to that benefit children in our community. It is these LA area programs/grantees that Vintage Hollywood will support.
