The Chios Mastiha Growers Association invites you to a special event in order to discover the unique ingredient of Chios Mastiha and its variety of applications in the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, perfume and food & beverages industries.

Chios Mastiha is a natural, aromatic translucent resin produced from the mastic tree, a large shrub, which only grown on the Island of Chios in the southern part of the Greek Islands. The word “mastic” comes from the Greek word “mastichein” which means “to gnash the teeth.”

Chios Mastiha comes in different forms: crystal, powder, capsules, oil and gum. It has been scientifically proven to have beneficial properties including antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, wound healing and skin regeneration, digestive and oral hygiene.
