The first annual Verdejo Day, a day dedicated to celebrating the signature grape of Spanish wine region D.O. Rueda, is fast approaching! Join Rueda and wine lovers nationwide in the celebration of National Verdejo Day – June 12th! This day comes at a time of skyrocketing interest in Verdejo wines and Rueda, as a region, in the US. Verdejo is a deeply aromatic, dry white wine grape. Take a sip and you’ll see why it’s utterly perfect for spring and summer sipping(not to mention affordable, too).
