Join the San Francisco Wine School at 2pm on Sunday, September 11th as we celebrate the wines and wine producers of Piemonte, Italy.
Master sommelier David Glancy will kick things off with a guided-tasting of four fine Piemonte wines. This will be complemented by readings and personal commentary from Suzanne LeBlanc. Suzanne has just published “Labor of Love: Wine Family Women of Piemonte.” Her 320-page book tells the fascinating and dramatic stories of the wine women from 22 multi-generational wine-producing families.
Next, enjoy a walk-around tasting of more than 25 Piemonte wines sponsored by Henry Wine Group, Gregory Condes, & Kobrand. Among this line-up of celebrated producers: Azelia, Michele Chiarlo, Matteo Correggia, Damilano, Marenco, E. Pira e Figli by Chiara Boschis, Produttori del Barbaresco, Paolo Scavino and La Spinetta.
Wines and book will be available for purchase at the event. Suzanne will be available during the tasting for autographs and questions.
