19 Dec From Breakfast to Lunch to Dinner, Lamill Has It All Day Long

I have been to Lamill for coffee. I been to Lamill for lunch. Now I have also been to Lamill for dinner. The casual, neighborhood outpost in Silverlake is can be enjoyed all day long.

From morning to night, Lamill offers the same menu. Breakfast fans can order omelets, eggs benedict and other breakfast-fare all day. But Lamill also offers sandwiches, salads, pasta, snacks and sweets all day and recently added some new menu items to these sections. Don’t worry, favorites such as the tasty Avocado Toast and decadent Warm Doughnut Holes are still on the menu. But with the new section for “Snacks & Sweets,” a selection of smaller plated items will satisfy for lunch, dinner or an afternoon snack.

The Spinach & Artichoke Dip is not like your typical spinach dips with lots of cheese and mayonnaise. This dip is actually the opposite. Made with roasted garlic, you can taste the spinach and artichoke. There is definitely cheese as well but it is not overwhelming, creamy or greasy. Add the housemade tortilla chips and this snack can fill you up!

SL Chicken Wings are a great finger food but can be a bit messy. Prepared Thai-style with roasted peanuts, the wings are sweet and spicy with a nice crunchy skin.

The Quesadilla comes with monterey jack cheese, caramelized onions and pico de gallo. Chicken and avocado can be added, which we did.

The Fattoush Salad comes with fresh herbs, cucumber, tomatoes, radish, tortilla and sumac. It is a refreshing and classic green salad but the dressing is light and delicate and the tortilla chips add a nice crunch. The other new salad is the Market Salad with mustard frill, farro, confit mushrooms, breakfast radishes, green onions, marcona almonds and sherry vinaigrette.

For dessert, Lamill offers a mouthwatering selection of freshly baked goods. And the Warm Doughnut Holes are hard to pass up.

But, with house-made vanilla ice cream and the locally roasted Lamill coffee, I had to go with the Affogato. The coffee is smooth with notes of chocolate that shone with the ice cream.

In addition to the coffee, Lamill also offers a respectable list of wine, beer and cocktails.

Grab your laptop and setup your work space for the day or meet with friends because at Lamill in Silverlake, breakfast, lunch and dinner can be enjoyed all day.
