The WSET Level 2 Course (formerly the Intermediate Certificate) is a great way for anyone who works in wine, wants a career in the wine industry or has a serious interest in the subject to deepen their knowledge. This course  requires no previous wine studies. Level 2 covers the wines and spirits of the world in 6 classes, followed by a one-hour multiple choice examination. The course focuses on how to professionally taste wine, the factors that influence style, quality and price, and goes into depth on the major grape varieties and wine types. Wine tasting is a part of every session with over 40 wines tasted over the two days of class.

Classes begin on Tuesday September 11 and run every Tuesday through October 23.  Classes 1 and 6 meet from 6PM-9PM. All other classes meet from 6-8PM

Classes will meet at Cantina Lounge, 580 Sutter Street, (between Powell St & Mason St) , San Francisco
